“'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord . From the house of the Lord we bless you. The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine on us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good; his love endures forever.' Psalms 118:26-29 ”

If you've ever had difficult days, trials where it seemed like you would never get out of it but deep down you knew that this day would come because the one who was with you during this time was the Creator, Lord and Savior of our souls and who has all control in his hands, then this post is for you!

This post is a continuation of the post Doors of Justice (click here to read if you didn't yet)

The reference to this post is on Psalms 118: 25.

'' Lord , save us! Lord , grant us success! ' Psalms 118:25

and

'Save us, Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. ' Psalms 106:47

In the ATC Pentecostal Study Bible /1995, there is a note on this phrase described in Ps 118:25, SAVE US. It takes the form of "hosanna" in the Greek translation ("hosh" "iana") of the Old Testament. It is a prophecy of salvation through Christ's sacrifice, according to verses 26 and 27 of the same chapter. The phrase was sung by the crowds at Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, according to Matthew 21:9:

''The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” ' Matthew 21:9

Jesus entered Jerusalem on the Sunday before his resurrection and was greeted with acclaim from the people as their King. He had been there many times before, but this time his purpose of assuming lordship over God's people was fulfilled. On Monday, after being received in Jerusalem as Lord, Jesus acted as such, correcting what he saw wrong in the House of the Lord. Many times since his youth he had entered the temple (Luke 2:42-52) and seen the trade in the House of God. Now that he has been received as Lord, he reacts by changing the temple. He drives out the money changers and the sellers of sacrificial animals, showing us that we need to make a decision to break away from the wrong things in our lives. Jesus also curses the fruitless fig tree, showing that he doesn't want us to live an unfruitful life (Matthew 21:18,19).

What I learn from these teachings here, especially with regard to my trial:

1- God corrects those he loves

2- He wants us to learn to depend on Him.

3- The faith shown during the time of trial is a sign that we trust in what God is going to do through us.

4- If you have gone through these 3 stages, now you can shout HOSANA, because it will be Jesus' turn to work. Just as he did in Jerusalem, as a preparation for how those who want to follow him should act:

  • assume Jesus' lordship over us - He is our God.

  • react to the change in us (temple of the Holy Spirit) - We can't live in sin any longer, we have to change our lives, according to God's Word.

  • God doesn't want us to live a fruitless life. We need to bear fruit, to tell others about Jesus, either through our witness or through the gifts he gives us.

And that's how God has been working in me.

Over the years, more precisely for more than 20 years, I've been praying for a case in court, and for the redemption of an amount paid into a consortium in the same period, putting my faith in God knowing that He never fails. All around me, many people were saying,

- "You'll never see the result of this".

- "Ihhh forget it, he said it's from the government, you don't even need to remember that anymore."

- "Look, many of those who joined this cause have already died. Better forget it so you don't get angry."

I knew that God would answer on the day he wanted to, so I did what I had to and waited.

I'd been thinking about it for three days and decided to look at the bank, and what was my surprise, the answer had been there for months, because the bank account I'd left it in was an old one with no transactions. I had to unblock it, and I only found out about it because of that. When I saw it, I just cried and thanked God a lot, because we are at a time when we really need to take steps for our future.

Glory be to God for his faithfulness!

God is faithful! If you have doubts, take the test! Talk to Him, give Him your doubts and needs! Wait because He is faithful, and He will answer you!

God bless you!
